"And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat." - Exodus 25:22
Vision: To see people set free through prayer and the counsel of God's Word. Mission: Following basic biblical principles, we help to bring healing and wholeness to individual's souls, emotions and relationships so they are free to fulfill their destiny.
Mercy Seat is a pastoral prayer ministry. We specifically use Elijah House and Restoring the Foundations prayer ministry principles. Our experience has shown us that lasting emotional pain, conflict, disorders, sexual problems, etc. all have a source and origin, a beginning. When healing takes place at its source, it is lasting.
All of us are wounded in some degree by past experiences in our lives and can benefit from healing prayer ministry. If you struggle with a negative emotion such as shame, fear, anxiety, abandonment, depression, worthlessness, hopelessness, etc., you can find freedom. We are not doctors or therapists licensed to diagnose conditions or offer medical treatment. All of our counselors have received training through Elijah House as prayer-counselors and/or training in Restoring the Foundations from qualified ministers.
This prayer ministry approach helps people to:
Recognize the causes of problems (lies, judgments, inner vows unforgiveness)
Break destructive patterns of behavior
Receive healing for emotional hurts and wounds
Accept responsibility for their part in the healing process
Allow God to effectively deal with their hearts at the root level

PROPHETIC PRAYER TEAMS Pre and Post Service Prayer Leader:Kathy Shepp
Our pre-service prayer teams lead corporate prayer that readies the Sunday morning service for ministry. The prayer focuses on entreating the presence of the Lord, supporting the people ministering that morning, and the hearts of those attending to be open.
Our post service prophetic prayer teams are made up of people who have been trained to hear the voice of the Lord and give a prophetic word of encouragement or pray for a specific situation or need for those who desire individual ministry. Our teams are available after each Sunday morning service.
